The press secretary of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Anatoly Glaz said that Minsk is ready to conduct a dialogue with international partners on the return of Middle Eastern refugees to their homeland, RIA Novosti reports.
According to Glaz, in Belarus “hundreds of times, they spoke very substantively about their readiness for a mutually respectful dialogue to resolve any sensitive issues.”
Earlier, the Polish Foreign Ministry said that the number of migrants on the border with Belarus is increasing. Now there are from 4 to 5 thousand people. The diplomat called the migration crisis on the Belarusian-Polish border “the most serious in the recent history of Poland”.
Prior to that, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that in the morning there were 1,790 people in the refugee camp at the border. The Belarusian leader ordered to bring them dry firewood.
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki called the situation with migrants on the border with Belarus a new type of war.
