Batter cabbage recipe

To come up with an original and tasty dish, you don’t need to invent a bicycle. Or rather, you don’t need to go to the store and buy avocados, capers or truffles there, just one head of cabbage is enough.


  • 1 head of cabbage
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tbsp. l. mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp. l. flour
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • spices to taste


The recipe is very simple, the appetizer is prepared in literally 15 minutes. First, take out the stump from the cabbage. Now boil the water, salt and put the cabbage in boiling water for three minutes.

Take out and let cool a little. While the cabbage is cooling, prepare the batter. To do this, mix eggs and mayonnaise in a separate container. Add flour, salt and spices. It will turn out even better if you beat it all with a mixer.

Now cut the cabbage leaves into 2-3 pieces, dip them in batter and fry in a skillet until golden brown.

So the appetizer is ready, as you can see, it took no more than 15 minutes for everything about everything.

Everything is very simple, a minimum of costs and efforts, and the taste is no worse than the dishes that take an hour and a half of work. The cabbage turns out to be very crispy and aromatic, no one will even guess what is under the batter!
