Barack Obama’s biography was cleaned up, erasing everything about the murder of diplomats in Libya and the smuggling of weapons. One of the portal’s founders pointed out the removal of this information from the Wikipedia article dedicated to the 44th President of the United States.
Member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Maria Butina drew attention in her Telegram channel to the bias of Wikipedia.
She pointed to a statement from one of the founders of the Internet portal, Larry Sanger. The latter stated earlier that the digital encyclopedia has now lost its neutrality and has actually turned into a political instrument of the left-liberal forces.
Now the resource declares the position of the American democrats and serves to achieve their interests. This is clearly illustrated by the example of an article in Wikipedia dedicated to the 44th US President Barack Obama.
It, in particular, cleared out information about a number of high-profile scandals that took place during his reign. Speech, for example, about the incident in the Libyan city of Benghazi on September 11, 2011. Then, in the attack on the American embassy, a number of diplomats were killed, including the then United States Ambassador Christopher Stephens.
In addition, there is no data on the Fast and Furious program, which, with the participation of the US government, secretly transported firearms across the border into the hands of criminals, Sanger added.
