Azerbaijan has announced that its representatives will not participate in the Caucasus-2020 international military exercises to be held in southern Russia in September. Thus, the second country refused to participate in the maneuvers.
Earlier it was planned that the military from six member states of the SCO and the CSTO would be involved in the exercises. It is known that military personnel from Pakistan, Iran and Myanmar are planned to participate in the maneuvers.
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported that two servicemen will be sent to the exercises as observers.
