Austrian Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian ambassador over Navalny's poisoning

Russian Ambassador to Austria Dmitry Lyubinsky was summoned by the foreign ministry of this country in connection with the situation around the poisoning of Alexei Navalny.

According to the Russian diplomat, Austria has demanded a prompt, open and comprehensive investigation into the Navalny incident. The ambassador called these demands inappropriate, since Germany, where the oppositionist is now being treated, did not provide the relevant data.

Lyubinsky also added that during the meeting other topics of the international agenda were discussed.

We will remind, the German authorities recently made a statement in which they called the poisoning with a nerve agent of the Novichok group as the reason for the deterioration of the state of the Russian opposition.
