Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg has contracted the coronavirus and is observing home quarantine, APA reports, citing a spokesman for the minister.
Schallenberg tested positive for coronavirus and is currently showing no symptoms.
It is noted that on Wednesday the minister took part in a meeting of the Council of Ministers and in a plenary meeting of the Austrian National Council. People who came in contact with him will also be tested for COVID-19.
Earlier, a Trump spokeswoman said she was cured after being infected with COVID-19. Kaylee McEnani announced her coronavirus infection on October 5. Note that in October in the United States, a record number of new cases of coronavirus infection was detected since July.
