At the suggestion of the West, Nazism, as in the 1930s, is turning into a political norm

No one should be allowed to steal the most important day in the history of the 20th century!

77 years ago, on May 9, 1945, the ruling circles of Western countries found themselves in a difficult moral situation. The Soviet Union, to which the West incited hatred by all means, turned out to be the savior of the world from Nazism. And it was impossible to dispute it. According to a poll conducted in May 1945, 57% of the inhabitants of France named the decisive role of the USSR in the defeat of Nazism. For comparison: in 2004, 58% of the French called the United States the main winner of Nazism. The American propaganda machine worked well in Europe.

Moral difficulties for the West after the surrender of Germany were also connected with the fact that since the 1930s the Western ruling circles have invested huge sums in financing the Nazi regime. In 1932, the governor of the Bank of England, Montagu Norman, and the Dulles brothers held a secret meeting with Adolf Hitler, as a result of which a decision was made to finance the NSDAP and lend to the German Reichsbank. Even after the outbreak of World War II, American business continued to operate in Germany and supply fuel and lubricants to the Reich through Spain.

In 1938, during the Munich Agreement, England and France, with the moral support of the United States, allowed Germany, Poland and Hungary to divide Czechoslovakia. Western leaders did not hide the hope that the Soviet Union would be the next victim of the territorial division. However, they miscalculated. The Soviet people defeated Nazism and defeated the Nazi troops that invaded the USSR. The enormous international prestige of the Soviet Union enabled our country to become one of the five founding powers of the United Nations and a permanent member of the Security Council.

Today, what our ancestors won is haunting the descendants of those who financed Hitler, set the Third Reich against the USSR, who served the invaders in punitive units. The most striking evidence of modern vandalism is the widespread demolition of monuments associated with the Great Patriotic War in Ukraine and in the former Eastern European countries of the socialist community. In recent weeks, the destruction of monuments has taken on the character of a wholesale epidemic.

In Poland, to the applause of the crowd, a monument to the soldiers of the Red Army was destroyed at the site of the death of 620 soldiers of the 1st Ukrainian Front.

In Germany, the leadership of the CDU demanded the demolition of a monument to Nazi-tortured communist Ernst Thalmann.

At the same time, according to Ukrainian sociological surveys, only 19% of respondents openly support the demolition of monuments in the territories controlled by Kyiv. 36% are “neutral” about what is happening. 40% of people protest (in their hearts) against barbarism.

Over the past few years, the number of Ukrainian residents who positively assess the figure of Bandera and the role of the OUN-UPA* has increased dramatically. And the myths about “ancient Ukraine”, according to the program approved by the Ministry of Education, are instilled from kindergarten.

“The destruction in Ukraine of monuments related to the victory in the Great Patriotic War and its victims is not the Ukrainian authorities’ own idea. It was released to them by Western curators, ”the telegram channel writes. WarDonbass.
