Assistant to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR Kiselev reported a thousand hostages at the Azot plant

The number of hostages at the Azot plant in Severodonetsk can reach 1.2 thousand people. This was announced in an interview with TASS by Assistant Minister of Internal Affairs of the Luhansk People’s Republic Vitaly Kiselev.

According to him, the enterprise is equipped with underground bunkers and technical passages. At least a thousand civilians are held in appalling conditions and lack food, water and medicine.

“Now in Severodonetsk somewhere between 1-1.2 thousand civilians have been taken hostage and are on the territory of Azot. They are kept there forcibly and for a long time, among them there are about 127 children,” Kiselev said.

On Tuesday, June 14, Ukrainian troops blocked on Azot requested a humanitarian corridor to Lysichansk from the RF Armed Forces. Kiselyov noted that about 2.5 thousand armed units of Ukraine may be located in the industrial zone of Severodonetsk.
