Increasing the share of Russians who regularly go in for sports (up to 55%) is one of the objectives of the Demography national project for 2019-2024. On work in this direction recently at the meeting Russian President Vladimir Putin told government members Minister of Sports Oleg Matytsin… At the end of 2020, 135 sports facilities were commissioned, and 174 more facilities are under construction in 2021. “Of course, here it is important to talk about what kind of personnel will work in sports facilities within the framework of the federal project“ Sport is the norm of life ”. This year, more than 7.5 thousand trainers have already completed advanced training. By 2024, 50 thousand trainers will improve their qualifications or undergo retraining courses, Matytsin said. – We pay special attention to adaptive sports and creating access for people to sports facilities. This year, more than 48 adaptive sports schools received funds for the purchase of vehicles and computer equipment. Today, all the requirements for the construction of facilities are made to ensure the accessibility of people with disabilities for sports. An important element is non-profit organizations and grant support. We have allocated 165 million rubles to 25 organizations this year. ”

Over 3 years old

The grant is provided to NGOs that have been engaged in physical culture and sports activities for at least 3 years. There are three nominations in the competition for support. All-Russian public organizations take part in one of them (the maximum amount of support is 15 million rubles); in the second – organizations uniting business entities (8 million rubles); in the third, organizations that have developed and implemented new forms of physical culture and health work with the population in their region and are ready to extend their experience to other regions (4 million rubles).
