The Ministry of Health of Mexico said that the first batch of Russian vaccine against coronavirus “Sputnik V” should arrive in the country on February 22.
At a press conference, which was broadcast on the government’s Twitter page, the deputy head of the Ministry of Health, Hugo Lopez-Gatel, called the delivery “very encouraging.”
We will remind, earlier in the government of the republic reported that they had previously agreed on the purchase of 24 million doses of the Russian drug. The vaccine will be distributed among the elderly population of municipalities where the highest deaths from COVID-19 were recorded.
Earlier it became known that San Marino became the 30th state to approve the Sputnik V vaccine.
