Arrest extended to Aeroflot representative accused of treason in London

Dmitry Fedotkin, accused of high treason, has been extended by the Moscow court to extend his arrest and detention until April 11, 2021. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the Lefortovo court in Moscow.

It is noted that the court granted the request of the investigation and increased the arrest period by three months.

Fedotkin was charged under Art. 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Treason”). He was the representative of the Aeroflot airline in London. The airline’s press service did not confirm, but did not deny Fedotkin’s affiliation with Aeroflot.

Recall that Dmitry Fedotkin was arrested on November 11, 2020 on suspicion of high treason. He was supposed to be in custody until January 10, 2021.
