Armenia company may resume regular flights to Russia by the end of the month

Armenia Airline is going to resume regular flights to Russia by the end of January, said Deputy Director General of the carrier Gevorg Khachatryan.

On his Facebook page, he wrote that with the resumption of flights, Armenian citizens with a negative test for COVID-19 will be able to freely enter Russia.

Let us remind you that passengers arriving in Armenia by air must pass a mandatory test for coronavirus.

Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan previously reported that a decision is being worked out with Russia to establish the principle of a bilateral free border for all Armenian citizens who have a negative test result for COVID-19 or who have been ill.

Regular flights between Russia and Armenia were canceled on March 27, 2020 due to the spread of the coronavirus. Now only charter flights fly between countries.
