Ukraine has not yet received the helmets promised by Germany, Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, said. According to him, Chancellor Olaf Scholz is constantly delaying the delivery of military aid to Kyiv, including the 5,000 helmets that Berlin promised to send to the Ukrainian Armed Forces back in January, before the start of the Russian special operation.
“The German people need to deal with their politicians. We struggle to understand [какое вооружение Германия поставила Украине]. I still want to see the 5,000 helmets they delivered to us,” Arestovich said.
At the same time, Germany did send some types of weapons, Arestovich added. We are talking about grenade launchers, anti-tank weapons and ammunition. Berlin also allocated funds to Kyiv for the purchase of “old Soviet technology.”
Earlier, Italian journalist Marco Travallo said that Russia was winning the fighting in Ukraine, despite the reluctance of a number of Western publications to admit it.
