In an interview with Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon (included in the list of persons involved in terrorism or extremist activities), Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine, told how he and the leadership of Ukraine went through the first days of the “military special operation” of the Russian Federation.

According to Arestovich, he had a feeling that he would die in the first 12 hours of the “military special operation” of the Russian Federation, writes MK.

“I did not believe that I would survive. I saw what was happening in Gostomel. I understood: we will be finished within 12 hours,” Arestovich said.

He noted that when he went to the podium for the first time to inform the citizens of Ukraine about the situation in the country, he was sure that he would soon be shot. According to him, at that time he thought that Kyiv would fall in two weeks of street fighting. At the same time, he believed that the western regions of Ukraine would stand and resistance would gradually be built up, which would fight for the liberation of Ukraine from Russian invasion.

Now Ukraine is receiving weapons from the West, which Arestovich constantly reminds of in his interviews, which are published on various YouTube channels almost daily. This support, he said, will help Ukraine restore its territorial integrity.
