Apple did not remove Russian media applications from the AppStore in Ukraine, but only notified the developers of the requirements of the Ukrainian authorities, RIA Novosti reports.
Representatives of the American company told the agency's correspondents about this.
Apple has notified representatives of MIA Rossiya Segodnya about the demand of the SBU to remove the brand's mobile applications from the AppStore catalog in Ukraine.
The company also notified VGTRK about the withdrawal of the applications "Russia 1", "Russia TV and Radio", "Vesti FM", "Vesti.ru", as well as NTV from the Ukrainian segment of the AppStore.
At the same time, the company notes that they did not remove any of these applications from the catalog, but only notified the Russian developers about the requirements of the Ukrainian authorities and offered to contact them directly.
Recall that earlier the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia issued an order to Apple to eliminate violations related to competition in the mobile application market.
