We invite you to find out the recipe for a delicious apple biscuit. Galette is a product that has a layered structure, breaks easily and gets wet well in water. Biscuits are simple – cookies and crackers, as well as fatty ones with an oil content.
Apple biscuit
Ingredients for the dough:
- 250 g flour
- 115 g butter
- 1 egg
- 50-60 g icing sugar
- a few tablespoons of cold water
Ingredients for the filling:
- 4 apples
- 40 g butter
- sugar
Ingredients for the crumb:
- 25 g flour
- 20 g sugar
- 20 g butter
Preparation:
Cooking the dough: grind chilled butter with flour. Break the egg, add the powdered sugar. Begin kneading the dough by adding one spoonful of water. It should take about 2 tbsp. l. Send the dough to the refrigerator for at least half an hour.
Cooking the filling: cut the apples into small cubes. Fry them in butter and sugar until soft.
Cooking crumbs: grind flour and butter into crumbs with your hands, add sugar. Mix well.
Take out the dough and roll it out so that the thickness is about half a centimeter. Lay out the filling, step back from the edge of the dough by one and a half centimeters. Fold the edges.
Bake at 180 ° C for approximately 20 minutes.
