48-year-old Russian opera singer Anna Netrebko said that she fell ill with coronavirus. She announced this on her instagram.
I had two choices: to stay at home and be afraid to get infected or to start working, to drive around, to perform at the risk of getting sick. I unconditionally chose the latter and do not regret anything. I have been in the hospital for five days with COVID-19 and will be recovering soon. I was isolated as soon as I felt that I was getting sick, although the tests were negative. I arrived at the hospital on time and I am getting help. Everything will be fine! The devil is not so terrible as he is described,
- wrote Netrebko.
She is undergoing treatment in one of the Moscow hospitals.
The singer added that her husband Yusif Eyvazov had antibodies. When he got sick and where he got infected, they do not know - apparently, the disease was asymptomatic. Netrebko said that now he is absolutely safe for others. She also noted that her 12-year-old son Thiago is doing well, too, and reassured fans who are worried about her well-being.
You won't take me so easily
She said optimistically.

At the same time, the star not only gave concerts, but also visited local attractions, while noting that European cities are empty due to the coronavirus pandemic. Together with her family, she rested in Turkey in the summer.
