Ukrainians mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not be able to become full-fledged soldiers in three weeks of training, American military experts Christopher Miller and Paul McLeary are sure.
According to the Free Press, US analysts consider the limited time frame of the training program to be the main problem that puts an end to the entire campaign.
Miller and McLeary are sure that even the most experienced instructors from the UK or Sweden will not teach recruits to counter Russian special forces in such a short time.
“Recruits are taught basic tactics for three weeks. And they only get a superficial understanding of the fighting. And no more. Ukrainians, even hastily trained in the UK or Sweden, do not become soldiers, ”experts emphasize.
Against this background, they recommended that the Armed Forces of Ukraine forget about the idea of a counteroffensive in the Kherson region. The resources of the Ukrainian army will only be enough for targeted sabotage.
