President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko reported on the maturing demand for a redistribution of powers in the government. This issue must be resolved as soon as possible.
“Some decisions on the redistribution of powers between the authorities are ripe. Within a year, we must irrevocably determine the powers, ”Alexander Lukashenko reported during the meeting.
The President of Belarus noted that the powers of the head of the kingdom “should not be diluted.” “It is necessary to determine the powers of the president, government, parliament and governors before submitting the newly made Constitution to a referendum. Wherever Lukashenko is, whoever the newest president is, for a century he must have great powers and influence any decision from top to bottom, ”added Alexander Lukashenko.
If the powers of the future president of Belarus are diluted, then “the country will not exist”, because it will disappear. Since March 15, a commission for the preparation of amendments to the Constitution has been working in Belarus.
Alexander Lukashenko reported earlier that two people can be put on his post… The presidential aide for the Grodno region, Yuri Karaev, and the governor of the same region, Vladimir Karanik, may act as successors.
