Afghanistan did not confirm information about terrorists near the southern borders of the CSTO

The radical Taliban * did not confirm the words of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon about terrorist training camps near the borders of the countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).

As the second deputy minister of information in the interim Taliban government, Bilal Karimi, noted on his Twitter page, Afghanistan assures all neighboring countries that the territory near the borders is safe, in particular, there is no threat to Tajikistan.

Earlier, Emomali Rahmon said that there are dormant cells of terrorist organizations in Central Asia.

The head of the republic noted that more than six thousand militants are present at the borders of the CSTO countries, and also pointed out the need to form a single list of banned terrorist organizations. In addition, Rahmon called for the creation of a security belt around Afghanistan.
