Acting head of Chuvashia Oleg Nikolaev wins the governor elections with 75.63% of the vote after processing 100% of the protocols, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Central Election Commission of the republic.
According to preliminary data, Alexander Andreev from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation got 10.28%, Konstantin Stepanov from the Liberal Democratic Party - 5.51%, Nikolai Stepanov from the "Russian Party of Pensioners for Social Justice" - 3.53%, Sergei Matveev from "Patriots of Russia" - 2 ,13%.
55.53% of voters took part in the elections following the results of three voting days.
