Acting Governor of the Perm Territory Makhonin won the election of the head of the region

The current Acting Governor of the Perm Territory Dmitry Makhonin won the election for the head of the region, gaining 75.69% of the vote, reports TASS.

As the chairman of the regional electoral commission Igor Vagin clarified, by now the election commission of the Perm region has processed 100% of the ballots for the governor's elections.

Ksenia Aitakova, Oleg Postnikov (LDPR), and Evgeny Kozlov (Patriots of Russia) also ran for the post of head of the region this year. The voter turnout in the elections for the head of the region was about 35.74%.

Let us remind you that on Sunday, September 13, elections were held in 83 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. More than nine thousand election campaigns of various levels took place in the country, more than 56 thousand polling stations were opened on this day.

Governors were elected in 20 regions of Russia, and deputies of local parliaments in 11. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, no serious violations that could affect the voting results were recorded during the elections.

Earlier it became known that the acting governor of the Jewish Autonomous Region Rostislav Goldstein won the election of the head of the region. He got 82.5% of the vote.
