Acting deputy head of the Vladimir region accused of bribe to leave office

The labor contract with the Acting Deputy Governor of the Vladimir Region Grigory Vishnevsky, accused of accepting a large bribe, will not be extended.

According to the regional administration, Acting Governor Alexander Avdeev signed a decree to terminate the employment contract due to its expiration with Vishnevsky on December 30, 2021, RIA Novosti reports.

According to the investigation, for patronage of the merchant under government contracts, acting the vice-governor received 600 thousand rubles.

The official was detained while receiving the next part of the bribe. The TFR opened a criminal case against him.

A court in the city of Vladimir in mid-November arrested Vishnevsky for two months. He will be in jail until January 14.
