Law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan have detained about four thousand terrorists, reports the Telegram channel “Vlast about the main” with reference to the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“In Alma-Ata, during a sweep, the activities of over 100 people were suppressed,” the publication also says.
It is noted that the largest number of arrests was recorded in Alma-Ata.
Earlier, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Kazakhstan opened cases of riots in the country. It was reported that the protesters could face from eight years in prison to life with deprivation of citizenship.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan stated that the participants in the riots who resist the demands to lay down their arms will be destroyed.
On the eve, it was reported about the detention of three thousand people. In addition, it became known that law enforcement officers of Kazakhstan liquidated 26 armed criminals.
