Abkhazian authorities to introduce additional restrictions in the country due to COVID-19

In Abkhazia, against the background of an increase in the number of cases of coronavirus, the authorities decided to introduce additional restrictions. The corresponding decree was signed by the President of the country Aslan Bzhania, Interfax reports.

From October 15 to November 24, mass sports, entertainment, entertainment and exhibition events are prohibited in the republic. Theaters, museums, libraries, cultural centers will not work during this period.

In addition, kindergartens, schools, educational circles, sports, dance and rehearsal rooms will be closed. Spas, saunas and massage parlors will also stop operating.

It is reported that workers over 60 years old and employees of organizations who have children of preschool and school age are released from work with pay.

On the territory of the country there is a mask regime, which must be observed in public places and at work.

According to the latest data, a total of 2,343 cases of COVID-19 were detected in Abkhazia. 854 people recovered, 23 died.
