A unified influenza and coronavirus vaccine is being developed in the Russian Federation

The Center for Virology and Biotechnology “Vector” of Rospotrebnadzor is studying a combined vaccine on animals that will simultaneously protect against coronavirus and influenza, reports RIA Novosti, referring to the general director of the center Rinat Maksyutov.

In an interview with the agency, he explained that such a drug may have an important epidemiological significance, since it will make it possible to vaccinate citizens annually against two infections at once.

We will remind, earlier Maksyutov spoke about the features of vaccination against coronavirus with the drug “EpiVacCorona”.
