The CEC representative said that the electoral process is over. The group of observers managed to visit more than 50 polling stations. According to Lopatin, some of his colleagues remained in the counting of votes.
“Representatives of the electoral system of the Russian Federation did not reveal any violations at the presidential elections in the Republic of Uzbekistan, either through the SCO or through the CIS,” Lopatin stressed.
The observer added that the polling stations were prepared in advance in accordance with the current epidemiological situation, RIA Novosti writes.
Five candidates are running for the post of head of state, including the incumbent President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Polling stations closed at 20:00 local time.
