A couple of years ago I received the Song of the Year award as the author of music and lyrics for the MBAND group. Then, looking from behind the curtains at the performing artists, I thought: “What if being a singer is not mine? What if I never have Song of the Year for my song? What if, in fact, I’m better at writing songs than singing them? And you know, with an absolutely sober mind, speaking in my head the worst forecasts for the development of my life in the @velvetmusic team, I started writing a lot of music. Different. Sometimes not the one that will give you a chill. Sometimes not the one from which my friend and manager @orlov_orlov calls me back in the morning and yells into the phone that this is the most beautiful song in the world. But exactly the same Music into which I turned my life. I missed the moment of delight in going out on the same stage with the artists whose music I grew up with, because I worked and flew away with my muse to the country house of my moved down roof😂 I am an introvert living between the office, studio and backstage. I adore my friends, but even they began to react normally to the phrase “I stay overnight in the office”. Today I sing on “Song of the Year”, in short, and I want to say a huge Thank you to each of my listeners, viewers, Velvet, touring staff, radio stations, digital platforms and TV channels) Everyone who asked me interesting questions in an interview, revealing me from different sides for those who once fell in love with songs that, believe me, are suffered by every cell of my body. And a little bit I want to say Thank myself) for my ability to let this world pass through myself, never ceasing to trust people and find love in them.
