The army of the Central African Republic received military equipment provided by Sudan to combat the armed formations operating in the country.
According to Nouvelles +, a convoy of military equipment from neighboring Sudan arrived in Birao, the capital of Wakaga prefecture, on March 29. The replenishment was accepted by the Central African military and Russian instructors, whom some media associate with “PMC Wagner”.
The new technology should help the CAR army put an end to the activities of the bandits. In recent months, the republic’s armed forces have liberated a number of settlements, and also returned important transport routes under government control.
National Security Advisor to the CAR President Valery Zakharov on his page in Twitter confirmed that reinforcements for the CAR army had arrived from Sudan.
I am also pleased to announce the arrival of a convoy of military-technical reinforcements in the Central African Republic from Sudan. FACA instructors and Russian instructors welcomed him to Amdafock and will accompany him throughout the country.
