Surely the spruce you bought is now on your balcony. When you bring it into the room, do not unfold it immediately. The tree needs to warm up a little, otherwise you will soon have to remove the crumbling needles.

When the Christmas tree is warm, clean the bark from the bottom of its trunk by about 10 cm: this way it will be easier for the felled tree to absorb water. Then spray the spruce with a stream of warm water.

Do not place the holiday tree near heating appliances. Christmas tree and so hard! Alternatively, wrap a damp rag around the barrel and moisten it with water from time to time.

When you decide where to put the tree, you can proceed to the most important thing. Fasten the spruce tree in a crosspiece, on a stand or in some other way. This is perhaps the simplest, albeit least effective way to extend the life of a New Year’s beauty.

Also, the tree can be placed in a container with water. Please note that the water must be hot during installation! Add 1/2 tsp to it. citric acid or vinegar. The acidic medium can be easily replaced by dissolving an aspirin tablet in water. Next, secure the tree trunk with water-filled plastic bottles inserted into a bucket around the trunk.

The best way to keep your spruce fresh is to place it in a bucket of clean, wet sand. Pre-dissolve an aspirin tablet, a pinch of salt and a spoonful of sugar in water and pour the resulting solution into the sand.

It is better to put the tree in wet sand so that it covers the lower part of the trunk by at least 20 cm. Do not forget to water the tree every day.

It is advisable to spray spruce branches with water every day, but before that, be sure to turn off the garland from the outlet!

Also, be careful with Christmas tree decorations: choose not very bulky ones and hang them evenly on the tree, trying not to burden any one side too much.

You don’t like artificial Christmas trees, but it’s a pity to put a cut live tree? Then make a small Christmas tree from tree branches. The forest is full of them! Buying a felled spruce or not is everyone’s business, but if you have already bought it, then follow the recommendations to extend the life of the green beauty and keep the festive atmosphere in the house much longer.
